Many of us have strong links to suicide. It’s frightening to realise how many people in our networks have either lost a loved one to suicide, or have contemplated or attempted suicide ourselves.

 

Sadly, these decisions, thoughts or actions are often judged unfairly due to the stigma that surrounds suicide, and we find ourselves unable to seek help, support or understanding.

 

There is a common perception that suicide is an ugly subject that should not be discussed, and so we find ourselves living with the elephant in the room.

 

We are a group who want to stand up, open-up, and start talking about suicide, to aid prevention, awareness, healing and support for survivors of suicide.
