Stepping off on Easter Saturday (March 31st) 2018 - Lisa Cartledge, alongside fellow walkers, walked from Beechworth to the north side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Milson's Point. 

 

Covering a staggering 700km in 21 days, the 2018 Elephant Walk was not just about fundraising. In fact, the walk wasn't even mostly about fundraising. Beechworth to Bridge is about letting the elephant out of the room and  smashing the stigma.

 

Walking at outdoor venues along the way and gathering at local pubs in the evenings, Lisa and the team aim to start open conversations about suicide. Stand up. Open up. Start talking about suicide.
